Public Policy Center Research Specialist and manager of the Gambler's Assistance Program Evaluation project,
Dr. Juan Paulo Ramirez, was called upon by a reporter for the Santiago Times as a source of information on gambling and the consequences of a gambling addiction. The Public Policy Center is open during normal business hours, 8:00a.m – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Center is closed for the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving and the following Friday
- 2009 Holiday Closedown will begin December 24th and conclude January 1st. Staff will return to work on January 4th, 2010.
In the case of bad weather, we open late or close early according to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's inclement weather policy and communications via UNL's homepage.
