The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center is a well-known and respected institution that works with all branches of the government at all levels- local, state and federal. We have impacted policy-relevant change throughout the state as well as nationally. The Public Policy Center creates effective partnerships, conducts policy-relevant research, facilitates public participation and can deploy University expertise. Center researchers come from diverse disciplines including business, economics, law, political science, psychology and sociology and can offer advice based not only on knowledge, but also from experience.
The Public Policy Center is a Management, Organizational and Business Improvement Services (MOBIS) Schedule 874 contractor. MOBIS is a Federal Supply Schedule offered through the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) to Federal agencies for expedited procurement of management and research services. MOBIS can provide Federal agencies with savings in procurement time and expense by offering a full range of management and consulting services that can improve a federal agency's performance and their endeavor in meeting mission goals. MOBIS contractors possess the necessary expertise to facilitate how the federal government responds to a continuous stream of new mandates and influences such as the President's Management Agenda; Government Performance and Results Act; Federal Acquisition Streamlining Act; OMB Circular A-76; Federal Activities Inventory Reform Act; government reinvention initiatives such as benchmarking and streamlining.
