This presentation will be designed to inform and educate professionals of various disciplines to make them more comfortable working with youth in crisis, across settings.

OBJECTIVES

  1. Identify three (3) behaviors/situations that constitute “crisis” for youth.
  2. Describe three (3) specific obstacles to parental engagement, and strategies for addressing those obstacles.
  3. List four (4) support resources in their community or online to continue developing competency with youth in crisis.
