This presentation will be designed to inform and educate professionals of various disciplines to make them more comfortable working with youth in crisis, across settings.
OBJECTIVES
- Identify three (3) behaviors/situations that constitute “crisis” for youth.
- Describe three (3) specific obstacles to parental engagement, and strategies for addressing those obstacles.
- List four (4) support resources in their community or online to continue developing competency with youth in crisis.

*Continuing education for psychologists may be used by other licensed behavioral health professionals. Please check with your licensing board. Continuing education credit is granted on a one credit per one instructional hour basis.
