Registration Now Open for Community Climate Resilience Symposium

This one-day symposium will bring together cities, towns, underrepresented groups and student groups from the Great Plains to co-create plans for next year’s Climate Resilience Institute.

Events include a climate history harvest, public engagement sessions and a sharing of ongoing and upcoming scholarly activities. Planned topics include basic science, engaging the arts and humanities, community collaboration, food security and sovereignty, and policy. The schedule of interactive talks and activities is designed to encourage collaboration and co-learning, as well as build a network of potential collaborators.

As part of the day’s activities, lunch will be provided. Register early as space is limited. This event is sponsored by the Community Climate Resilience Institute, a University of Nebraska–Lincoln Grand Challenge grant. The University of Nebraska Public Policy Center is helping facilitate this event.
