Public Policy Center Research Specialist and manager of the Gambler's Assistance Program Evaluation project,
Dr. Juan Paulo Ramirez, was called upon by a reporter for the Santiago Times as a source of information on gambling and the consequences of a gambling addiction. Veronica is working towards her Ph.D. in Social Community Psychology at the University of Puerto Rico, where she also works as a research assistant. She is an intern at the Public Policy Center until August. Her primary research interest is in suicide prevention.
