Public Policy Center Research Specialist and manager of the Gambler's Assistance Program Evaluation project,
Dr. Juan Paulo Ramirez, was called upon by a reporter for the Santiago Times as a source of information on gambling and the consequences of a gambling addiction. Name: Katie Axt


Katie began working for the PPC in the beginning of 2007. She is currently helping wrap up a study on 211. She is in her fourth year at UNL and plans to pursue her masters in sociology on the east coast in the fall of 2008. Katie attended sixteen different schools in thirteen years moving around with her military family. She has lived half way around the world in Naples, Italy but has returned to Nebraska where she was born.
