Public Policy Center Research Specialist and manager of the Gambler's Assistance Program Evaluation project,
Dr. Juan Paulo Ramirez, was called upon by a reporter for the Santiago Times as a source of information on gambling and the consequences of a gambling addiction. Women, Children and Family Treatment (WCFT) Program

The purpose of the project is to serve as a third party evaluator of the Heartland Family Service's Residential Program for Women and Children, with an emphasis on pregnant and postpartum women (PPW). The PPC will assess how well the Program is meeting the needs of the program's clientele and how the Program effects crime and violence.
