Public Policy Center Research Specialist and manager of the Gambler's Assistance Program Evaluation project,
Dr. Juan Paulo Ramirez, was called upon by a reporter for the Santiago Times as a source of information on gambling and the consequences of a gambling addiction. On the evening of February 24th, 2005, 162 randomly selected residents of Lincoln/Lancaster County gathered to participate in "A Community Conversation: Future of Lincoln", on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The Conversation provided an opportunity for ordinary Lincolnites to discuss their views about the city's future development plans and quality of life
